Author talk: Arctic Traverse with Michael Engelhard

Join Moab author Michael Engelhard in a talk about his 58-day, 1,000-mile solo trek through Alaska’s Brooks Range. On this journey, Engelhard crossed the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and Gates of the Arctic National Park before launching an inflatable canoe on the Noatak River, North America’s largest undammed watershed. Trained as a cultural anthropologist and having worked for twenty-five years as an outdoor instructor and guide, Engelhard will also show clips from the film “Alone Across Alaska” and sign copies of his memoir “Arctic Traverse.”
