An excellent spot to hike, picnic, and swim. There are a few trails around Ken’s Lake to explore: hikers can wander the perimeter of the lake and jaunt to “Faux Falls,” a manmade waterfall near the camping area.
If circumnavigating the lake, begin at the main Ken’s Lake parking lot and follow the gravel road that begins along the west side of the lake. If walking only to Faux Falls, begin at the Ken’s Lake parking lot and follow the gravel road toward the campground. Then, follow signs for “hiking trails.” Eventually you will see signs for Faux Falls and Upper Faux Falls.
